Firstly, I must apologise for the radio silence over the last couple of weeks. I have been really busy with lots of different projects, which have monopolised my time. I also returned to my home in London for a few days, where I spent many a happy hour researching new restaurant openings, returning to old haunts, catching up with friends and making use of the low, cool autumn light to take snaps of a very picturesque capital city and the home county of Surrey.
My limited edition prints, this week, started as an idea whilst walking through the beautiful gardens of RHS Wisley. The autumnal colours were out in full force and mother nature was at her best. I was out with my own mother and, by my not being able to walk more than three steps without taking a photo, I pushed her patience to limits that I have not done since I was a demanding toddler. Once back at my family home, I continued to make use of the good weather London was enjoying and, again, couldn’t stop snapping pictures in my mother’s garden, which, though obviously smaller than Wisley, is just as beautiful in my eyes!
Now back in Germany, my luck with good weather, and as a consequence wonderful autumnal light, continues. The woods behind my house, where I walk my dog daily, are now absolutely stunning. Autumn is, sadly, such a short season and yet one of the most beautiful. The trees have literally turned every colour of the rainbow, bar blue and purple. I hope you enjoy viewing these images and look forward, as always, to hearing from you with your requests for purchasing and your own shots of similarly beautiful views.
Happy leaf kicking all,
PS – if you want to visit RHS Wisley, this is their website https://www.rhs.org.uk/gardens/wisley. I really do recommend a visit, even if you aren’t green fingered (I certainly am not!)
